Beauty of Sleeping

Posted by Ernest | Comments (0)

Sleep is a beautiful thing. I’m sure everyone loves it. But not everyone knows just how important it can be to get enough. If you have ever had one of those days where you just lain down and passed out for the rest of the day. You may even sleep through till the morning. This is simply a lack of sleep but there are even worse things that can happen with lack of sleep. If one does not get enough sleep, their immune system will begin to weaken and they will be more likely to get sick. That is why you need plenty of rest when you feel ill. The rest helps strengthen your immune system, which can then fight the sickness.

So there is a reason that sleep feels so good when you are so tired. Not only are you totally refilling your body but you are also strengthening your body. Sleeping is just as important as eating or drinking water. So don’t forget to get enough sleep. It’s much more important than anything else you can think of to stay up and do.

Fusions in Footwear

Posted by Ernest | Comments (0)

I have always been a fan of Jordans basketball shoes. They almost always look good and are very good quality shoes for playing ball. On the other hand, I think that the Nike Air Force 1’s are very cool looking but do not function as well for basketball.

Jordans (which is owned by Nike) combines the looks of some of their classic shoes with the look of the Air Force 1’s. These are called the Fusion series and they’re really popular. These shoes have a little from both worlds and usually have the upper area of one of the many classic Jordans sneakers while the lower area and sole usually look like Air Force 1’s.

In my opinion, the Fusions are some of the coolest shoes yet and I hope they continue to make new ones. One problem with the Fusions is that they are not really that good for basketball. They tend to fall apart when used to play intense basketball frequently. But I think that they are great shoes; manly for looks.

Styles and Trends are Constantly Going in Circles.

Posted by Ernest | Comments (0)

Trends are always going in circles. Has any one ever told you that? Well it’s true. Just look at clothing. It’s more obvious in women’s clothing but I think it’s still clear in men. A few examples for both genders are as follows: fat necktie versus skinny necktie and high heels versus low heels. Another great example is the popularity of the new Mustangs. These cars were looking kind of wimpy for a few years but recently they have been looking top notch cool. Am I the only one who thinks they look very similar to the older Mustangs?

I think it’s a plan that the developers have. They just keep selling us “new” things because they sold before and they will sell again. The developers just have to alternate when products are popular and available. Now that makes sense but what happens when the sales of some merchandise go down. I think it’s because the developers tried to market some new products. These products were unfamiliar to the people and it either takes them awhile to get used to it or they don’t get used to it at all. So if you have ever wondered if styles really do go around and around, well now it’s a bit clearer.

Seasonal Businesses and Budgeting

Posted by Erin | Comments (0)

Last week I had lunch with a friend of mine who owns a landscaping business and we discussed the difficulties of owning a seasonal business. He made a very good observation about managing a seasonal business and said if you planned right it wasn’t that difficult. However, there are many companies that don’t plan out their years and take into affect that part of the year will bring little to no revenue.

I have another acquaintance that runs several Halloween stores and starts at the end of July and works through November and makes enough money to live the rest of the year without having to work anywhere else. She budgets her money very well and always has enough to get the stores up and going the next year.  Her livelihood depends on her ability to budget and because she is so good at it she has created a great lifestyle for her and her family.
